2025 Community Builders Application

Leadership Lake County has provided leadership development programs since 1987. The experiential nature of our program days and the preparation for workplace and community leadership roles are the hallmarks of our programs.

Leadership Lake County Community Builders is designed for front-line employees and entry-level managers. This program focuses on developing communication and strategic thinking skills. The program includes development of personal, professional and community leadership skills. Community Builders runs September - May on the first Monday of each month from 12pm-5pm. In addition to the program days, we will have two full day retreats in September and May.

Class size is limited to 30 individuals. Tuition is $895 and includes all materials, texts and assessments.

Application Due Date: July 1, 2024

Applicants will be notified of their status by August 1, 2024.

Participants in Leadership Lake County, Inc. Community Builders Program will be selected from those individuals who have timely submitted their application form.

Please note: Invoices for the $895 non-refundable tuition will be issued with notification of acceptance. Please do NOT send payment with application.

Participation

In order to accomplish the program’s stated objectives, total attendance and full participation of each individual selected is necessary.

Please review class dates below. All half-day sessions are on the first Monday of the month from Noon to 5 pm unless otherwise noted. Orientation and Closing Retreat sessions are Mandatory. Attendance at 80% all other sessions is required for graduation.

Energize Others I: February 10, 2025 from 12pm-5pm (2^ndMonday)
Energize Others II: March 3, 2025 from 12pm-5pm
Intervene Skillfully I & II: April 7, 2025 from 12pm-5pm
Closing Retreat: May 5, 2025 from from 9am-5pm
Graduation: Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 6pm-9pm
